What to expect

Ride in luxury on one of the Gray Line tour buses to experience Dubai's history and evolution. Discover how this modest fishing village became a major city with a rich heritage through a guided tour with different stops that showcase the city's past and present.

Things to look out for

The traditional tour starts with the discovery of the Jumeirah area and the famous Burj Al Arab. Then take a stop at an art center and cross the new Canal. You can either visit or stop for a snapshot of the amazing Grand Mosque of Jumeirah. This tour continues to the historic district of Bastakiya, the city's old town where you can visit the Dubai Museum in the 200 year old fortress of Al-fahidi. After exploring the old town, cross the creek by boat in an authentic Abra and head towards the Deira district which is teeming with spice and gold souks. The tour continues with the discovery of the Zaabeel area and the rulers of Dubai palaces before ending at the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.

Helpful Tips

The stop at the Jumeirah Mosque does not include a guided entrance of the Mosque, but guests can enter the Mosque on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 to 9:45 am only, and on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 to 10 am and 10:15 to 11:15 am. The mosque is closed on Fridays.

The tour operates daily including Fridays however the National Museum of Dubai is closed to visitors on Friday mornings.
