What to expect
Bergrummet Tidö Collection of Toys & Comics is a private owned museum of Toys and Comics, located in 2500sqm caves, just below the Museum of Modern Art at Skeppsholmen. The collection has a history of 60 years, collected over many generations by the von Schiknel family at Tidö Castle. The exhibition at Bergrummet was made by handpicked artists, specialists, and architects and is available in 7 languages.
Things to look out for
At Bergrummet, you will find a unique collection of royal toys. The Swedish royal family donated and lent some of their extraordinary toys that is displayed in a specific stand.
Bergrummet is located at Svensksundsvägen 5, directly to the left after you walk across the bridge to beautiful Skeppsholmen, in the middle of Stockholm. It is home to other captivating sights such as the Museum of Modern Art, ArkDes (former Museum of Architecture), The Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities and the Torpedo workshop. There are multiple cafés, restaurants and a hotel on the island including the museum's in-house café. After your visit, you can also walk around the island and further out to Kastellholmen.
