Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is by far the biggest festival in Singapore and one of the most colourful times of the year. Also known as the Lunar New Year, this is a time for family and friends to come together, and the city to come alive with colourful processions, markets, lion dances and beautiful decorations.
This unique and multicultural parade is the largest of its kind in all of Asia! Set in the heart of Singapore, Chingay features dancing lions, stilt walkers, fireworks, wushu masters and performers from all over the world. This incredible celebration serves to bring harmony between communities and share in a "cultural fantasy."
