Three Kings Day

Christmas is not over for the kids of Mexico City! On the twelfth day of Christmas, children receive gifts from the Three Wise Kings as they parade through the city on elaborate floats. The streets of Mexico City will be packed with food stall, gifts and outdoor parties. It is also customary to eat Rosca de Reyes which is a wreath shaped fruity bread.
Carnival

Feb 7 to 13
Carnival is a five-day celebration before the Catholic Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. This Carnival will feature a vibrant celebration of incredible parades, floats, costumes, music and dancing in the streets. The celebrations reach full swing on the final evening of Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday.
Guadalajara International Film Festival

One of Latin America's most important arts events, this festival features a mix of Mexican and Ibero-American films. Choose from a myriad of unique cinematographic experiences or take in some of the educational and cultural activities happening throughout the city.
