Totally Thames Festival

National Theatre’s River Stage Festival
July 28th – August 27th
Every summer, The National Theatre brings back the infamous River Stage Festival. Located on the bank of River Thames, this Festival provides free entertainment for anyone to enjoy. The River Stage Festival includes music, workshops, dances, and many other forms of free entertainment. On the weekends, certain performances and entertain companies will take over the stage to provide a variety of entertainment to the audience of South Bank. IAAF World Athletics Championship 2017
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Championship 2017
August 4th – August 13th.
From August 4th – August 13th, London will host 3,300 of the top athletes from all over the world as they compete in the IAAF World Athletics Championship 2017. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will host track and field events that will allow the top athletes in the world to compete, to see who is the top in the world in each event. Some of the world’s top athletes that will be competing include Usain Bolt and Mo Farah. Experience the 16th annual IAAF World Athletics Championship, the largest global sporting event of the year, and Usain Bolt’s last race, in the London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park!
