Things to look out for
Hanauma Bay is a real icon among the dive sites in Oahu. In this marine life kingdom live various species of tropical fish – over 450. And you can swim along with them. Some of them can be seen only in this region of Hawaii. Besides amazing coral reef teeming with hundreds of colorful species of fish. In fact, Hanauma Bay is a nature preserve and a beach park. A long time ago, in the 18th century, the bay was a favorite fishing spot of the Hawaiian kings. Now it is protected by the government because a lot of unique tropical fish are living there. One of them is considered a symbol of Hawaii -the Humuhumunukunukuapua fish.

Makapu’u Light House Trail Hike Tour
The Makapu'u Point Trail, within Kaiwi State scenic shoreline, offers outstanding views of O'ahu's southeastern coastline, including Koko Head and Koko Crater. On a clear day, you may even see Moloka'i and Lana'i. The offshore islets are wildlife sanctuaries for Hawaiian seabirds, such as the 'Iwa frigate bird. This trail is an excellent place to view migrating humpback whales in season (November- May). The difficulty of the trail is moderate and you will be reaching an elevation of 500 feet.

Rainforest “Manoa Falls” Tour
Parts of Jurassic Park and The Hunger Games have been filmed at some of the areas of this hike. The beginning of the trail crosses over a footbridge and then crosses a small stream through a grove of Eucalyptus trees. The 0.8mile trail gradually ascends through a lush rainforest ending at a viewing area set back from the base of the falls. Then walk on the Aihualama Trail, which takes you back up the ridge, through bamboo and offers views of Honolulu and Manoa Valley. Aihualama Trail is not suitable for novice hikers.
