What to expect

The world's most celebrated battleship, the Mighty Mo, is located within a ship's length of the USS Arizona Memorial. Together, the battleships serve as book ends that mark the beginning and end of U.S. involvement in WWII.

The Guided Tour only takes 35 minutes and covers the main historical points of the ship. For a more detailed understanding, the Acoustiguide has over 100 stops and covers more historical and technical aspects of the Arizona. This tour goes for 45 – 90 minutes and is available in English, Japanese and Korean.

Things to look out for

Walk in the footsteps of General Douglas MacArthur on the Surrender Deck where Japan signed the Official Act of Surrender, ending WWII. While at the USS ArizonaMemorial, you can view the Mighty Mo's powerful armaments and experience life aboard ship as you explore her decks and hear her crew members' stories.

Helpful Tips

Small bottles of water are permitted, but if you forget to bring one, there are a selection of cold drinks available for purchase. Food is not allowed on board the ship, but if you fancy a little treat after your tour, you may wish to try some of the locally-made Tropilicious’ gourmet ice creams and sorbet.

It is recommended that you wear closed toe shoes and watch out for doorways and passageways with low ceilings.
