What to expect

The Pacific Aviation Museum in Pearl Harbor is located on historic Ford Island, an active military base. The museum covers over 70 years of Pacific aviation history. After arrival in the Pacific Aviation Museums' lobby, guests enter a 200-seat theater where they can view a 12-minute movie covering the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, including historic footage.

Things to look out for

The visitors' experience begins in Hangar 37, a 42,000-square foot former seaplane hangar that survived the December 7, 1941 attack. The museum provides full access to 50+ aircraft and all exhibits, including WWII Hangars 37 & 79, MIG Alley, historical videos, the Museum Store, Laniakea Café and the award-winning Pearl Harbor documentary: East Wind, Rain. Fly the wild blue yonder in Hawaii's best combat Flight Simulators (extra fee).

Helpful Tips

A shuttle bus transfers visitors from the Arizona/Bowfin area to Ford Island so that you can also tour the Missouri Battleship and visit the Pacific Aviation Museum. The shuttle is free if you have presented your iVenture Card and collected your ticket for the USS Missouri Battleship Tour or Pacific Aviation Museum.
