Basilica Santa Maria del Mar

Barcelona’s Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar is an outstanding example of Catalan Gothic architecture. Take a guided tour to the towers and rooftops and get a glimpse of its magnificent interior. You can also get non-guided access to the gallery and crypt as well.

The visit offers a special, in-depth look at its construction process of the basilica in the Middle Ages, its historical evolution throughout the years and its current state. Booking in advance is highly encouraged. Please wear comfortable footwear as there are a lot on stairs to climb up and down from. Go all the way up to the top of the towers to get fantastic views of the city. If you're lucky enough to visit while there is music playing, you can get to appreciate the church's excellent acoustics as well.
