Bygone Beautys was created in 1992 when the current owner Mr. Maurice Cooper joined forces with another collector of teapots Mr. Ronald Hooper. Since then the collection has grown to more than 4,000 teapots, with 3,000 currently on display.
Bygone Beautys is committed to honouring and preserving Australian culture and traditions regarding both tea-drinking and traditional teas. Australia’s eclectic culture has its origins largely on its Anglo-Celtic heritage but also on a wide range of multicultural influences.
