This is the official National Day in Australia which marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British Ships in Port Jackson, New South Wales. It’s a day off for most people and a special time to come together with family and friends around a classic Aussie barbecue.
Sydney Mardi Gras Parade

The Sydney Mardi Gras parade is Australia's largest LGBTQIA+ pride parade and every year it attracts hundreds of thousands of people. 2018 is set to be an especially spectacular year as it marks the 40th anniversary of Sydney Mardi Gras. Not only do the celebrations include the iconic parade, but also a range of events on from February 15 - March 6th.
