Established in 1974, the Singapore Cable Car is the nation’s first cableway. To this day, it remains the only aerial ropeway system in the world to span an entire harbour and it is also the only cable car that passes directly through an office building! A massive feat of engineering, the cable car is a really fun way to see different parts of Singapore, and is enjoyed daily by local residents and travellers who want to hop from Mount Faber to Sentosa in style.
However, the Singapore Cable Car is much more than a mode of transport. It offers a fantastic 360-degree visual treat from the very top of Mount Faber Park to Sentosa Island, which is more commonly known as the State of Fun, and the scenery along the way is just stunning. Expect rolling hills, craggy mountains, huge skyscrapers and much, much more!
