Current exhibitions:

Main exhibition: On Stage
This family friendly interactive exhibition is divided into the sections: dance, theatre, and music. Explore the amazing array of objects: musical instruments, stage costumes and set design models, as well as some 20 interactive stations where you can explore your own creativity. Explore the legacy of Swedish champions such as Ingmar Bergman, Anneli Alhanko, Swedish House Mafia, Gunilla Palmstierna Weiss, Strindberg and Robyn.

SOUND CHECK: MAKE IT; PLAY IT. (Until 18 August 2019)
Break out your old mix tapes or swing your way to melodic bliss. SOUND CHECK is an interactive and noisy exhibition that turns the visitors into musicians and music producers – regardless of prior knowledge. Come play with us!

Swedish Music Hall of Fame
This exhibition pays tribute to some of Sweden’s most renowned music makers like Abba, Roxette and Robyn.

Things to look out for

Discover the world of theatre, music and dance – on stage and behind the scenes. This family friendly interactive museum is situated in the oldest industrial building in Stockholm. You’ll find the On Stage exhibition (divided into the sections: dance, theatre, music and puppetry) as well as The Swedish Music Hall of Fame exhibition that pays tribute to some of Sweden’s most renowned music makers.

Helpful Tips

Some 20 interactive stations turn the spotlight on the visitor’s own creative abilities. Create your own music in Samplingsbaren (“the Sampling Bar”), try the digital makeup mirror and get lost in Ljudskogen (“the Sound Forest”).
