Spier Wine Farm is one of the very first farms to be established in Stellenbosch. A restored Manor House, an intriguing collection of Cape Dutch gables and the oldest dated wine cellar in the country. All on a farm that takes a purist approach to farm for health.

While the wine is a good reason to visit the farm, the four amazing food experiences on-site make it the perfect all-day stop. After an informative tasting of your choice, tuck into farm-to-table food at Eight, barbeque-style food at The Hoghouse BBQ & Bakery, a light nibble at the hotel or opt for a create-your-own picnic to be enjoyed under a tree on the lawn.

After the food and wine have settled, take a stroll on one of the walks (Heritage or Protea), exploring the farmstead as you go. The spa, offering facials, massages, pedi’s or mani’s, is the ideal check-in point for a day out with the girls.

The farm is also an ideal family-friendly location.
