Le Bonheur Crocodile farm, home of the captive bred bask of African Nile crocodile, offers daily guided croc pond tours. Visitors view crocs of various ages and get to touch a juvenile, before getting an up-close view of the fascinating reptiles underwater via a subsurface viewing cabin. The farm’s growing snake collection is introduced during two snake shows (12:00 and 15:00) held on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
The centrally located Le Bonheur Crocodile farm situated in the Cape winelands, is a registered breeder of the African Nile crocodile. The farm provides visitors – with an emphasis on family and groups – the opportunity to see and interact with the once hunted (almost to the point of extinction) croc.
