Check out Jenolan Caves, the world’s oldest cave system
Jenolan is Australia’s most awe-inspiring cave system and is amongst the world’s finest. This is the cave where you’ll find all the breath taking limestone formations, one of Jenolan’s best examples of exquisite ‘spar’ crystal can also be seen here. It takes approximately 60 minutes, and with over 400 steps to take to get to see it, it’s fitness level has been rated ‘average’ so it’s suitable for all abilities to experience. Imperial. The Imperial Cave follows an ancient river passage, where you can see marine fossils embedded along the walls. It takes approximately 60 minutes, and with over 350 steps to take to get to see it, it’s fitness level has been red ‘easy’ so everyone can see it!
