The Green Planet

The Green Planet is a bio-dome which gives visitors a chance to explore the fascinating flora and fauna of a tropical rainforest. This enclosed space recreates one of the world's oldest ecosystems with over 3,000 plants and animals.
The Green Planet offers four exhibits: The Canopy which is the roof of the rainforest; the Midstory which focuses on the middle of the rainforest; Forest floor; and Flooded Rainforest. You’ll not only learn about the ecosystem's biodiversity but also how to protect its beautiful, interesting and unique species.

You will not want to miss seeing the world’s largest indoor and life-sustaining artificial tree that is the centrepiece of Green Planet. The bio-dome is designed to raise awareness for the delicate balance of nature, and the preciousness of one of our world’s oldest living ecosystems. You can also check out the region’s first Seba’s short-tailed bat cave which simulates the bats’ low-lit habitat. You can also spend some quality time with other furry friends thanks to the Sloth and Sugar Glider encounters.

The Green Planet is conveniently located in City Walk, one of Dubai’s most popular leisure hotspots – home to dining, fashion and events so you’ll have plenty of activities to keep you occupied after your trip to The Green Planet. Most taxi drivers will be familiar with the address of City Walk and road signs will guide you there if you're travelling by car. It is also a 15 minute walk from the Burj Khalifa Metro Station if you're using public transport.

There is an open air parking lot available next to the building if you are travelling by car.
