What to expect
Get on a bike and explore Manly Beach and Sydney Harbour National Park with Manly bike hire and bike tours! With over 20 km of dedicated bicycle tracks to choose from, the best way to explore Sydney's most beautiful coastal town is by bicycle! Manly has been Sydney's premier seaside resort for over 150 years. It features idyllic beaches, marine reserves, Sydney Harbour National Park and an amazing aboriginal history stretching back 20,000 years. It is what Australia is all about. We offer Manly's newest and largest fleet of bikes for hire and run daily guided bike tours of the area.
Things to look out for
During the warmer months, you’ll want to bring your swimming costumes with you and a towel as there are many inviting places to take a dip in Manly. It is also recommended to wear sun screen and bring plenty of water. Have a chat with the staff as they can suggest some of the best routes in Manly and show you how to get there on your map. North Head in the national park is a popular location to ride your bike to and you’ll see amazing views of the harbour along the way.
Helpful Tips
You don’t have to worry about busy traffic here as Manly is very bike friendly and has 20 kilometers of cycle paths.
The nicest and easiest way to get to Manly from the city is by ferry. Ferries leave the city approximately every half hour from Circular Quay (Wharf 3) and return at similar intervals. The trip takes around 30 minutes and provides incredible views of the harbour. Alternatively, you can take the bus to Manly Wharf. If you are driving, Manly is about a 40 minute drive from the city and there are council car parks available. For timetable information, you’ll want to visit: https://transportnsw.info/
