You don’t have to worry about busy traffic here as Manly is very bike friendly and has 20 kilometers of cycle paths. The nicest and easiest way to get to Manly from the city is by ferry. Ferries leave the city approximately every half hour from Circular Quay (Wharf 3) and return at similar intervals. The trip takes around 30 minutes and provides incredible views of the harbour. Alternatively, you can take the bus to Manly Wharf. If you are driving, Manly is about a 40 minute drive from the city and there are council car parks available.
