Whale Watching Season

Location: Sydney
Whale watching in Sydney is a magic event. Every year, from Autumn until Spring, you can witness the humpback whales making their way up the coast to the warmer North Queensland waters and back down south again with their calves. You can watch the whales make their journey from the land or sea. National parks, coastal walks and headlands are great places to watch the whales for free. For a closer experience, hop on a whale watching cruise!

Sculpture By The Sea, Bondi

Location: Sculpture By The Sea, Bondi
The Sculpture by the Sea exhibition is Australia’s largest outdoor exhibition and boasts stunning ocean and beach backdrops. Situated along the coastline between Bondi Beach and Tamarama, you can continue along the coast to enjoy the Bondi to Coogee Coastal walk. The exhibition attracts over 500,000 visitors so head over early in the morning or mid-week to avoid the crowds.

Badu Gili

Location: Sydney Opera House
Every evening at sunset and 7pm the Opera House will be transformed as it is illuminated with a spectacular new 7 minute projection. Badu Gili, meaning "water light" in the language of the Gadigal people shares the ancient stories of the First Nations. Take you camera to snap some great pictures of this iconic building alight with colour or simply relax in the Opera bar and enjoy the show with a cocktail.
