Description

Discover the foundation of the great Aztec Empire, their mythical universe where the old and new world collided centuries ago giving birth to a new nation. Cobblestone streets will take you to pagan pre-Hispanic temple ruins buried by the Spaniard conquerors to be replaced by a new god, worshiped at baroque catholic churches and the palaces of the New Spain and the unique style carved in tezontle stones.

Ride along around historic downtown from Reforma Avenue to the moon´s belly button. Escorted by a trained cycling team, be aware of the small details carved in stone by the indigenous Mexicans.

According to your departure time of choice, greet your guide at the Downtown Poráy location, choose your bicycle from the showroom and let the team helps you to feel comfortable in the saddle; step outside the shop and you're right away in the bike lane to start the journey right at the Central Alameda, the 1st urban park of America.

Zócalo, not the typical center plaza will overwhelm you with its scale and surrounding buildings, the pillars of the eastern civilization, policy, economy and religion, especially the Metropolitan cathedral with its multiple architectural styles given its construction took 3 centuries to be completed. Let´s ride beyond the postcard photos where the commerce Burroughs have given the identity to the streets.

Mexico city´s iconic buildings like Bellas Artes, Palacio Postal and the MUNAL will make you wonder which Architectural Style they belong to, their beautiful facades are rich in detailed ornamentation, and the Art collections hosted inside their walls contribute to the vast cultural heritage of our city which after London is the city, hosts a great number and variety of museums.
